Air commodore Forhad Hossain Mahmud, bsp, bpp, afwc, psc, Engg was commissioned in Bangladesh Air Force on 31 May 1994. He is a graduate from College of Aeronautical Engineering Risalpur, Pakistan. Beside mandatory courses he did few professional courses like Officers’ Flight Safety Course, Safety Course, Junior Command and Staff Course and AFWC from NDC. He served in different air bases and units in Bangladesh Air Force. He also served as Officer Commanding Maintenance wing at Bangladesh Air Force Base Zahurul Haque and Bangabandhu and Officer Commanding 214 Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Unit. He visited different countries such as Malaysia, China, Japan, Russia, France, Germany, Romania etc. Presently he is serving as Director Purchase (Air), DGDP.
